BENEFITS OF TAI CHI
A simple, yet profoundly effective tool that deals with stress, improves immune function, increases mental and physical flexibility and almost immediately alters attitude and demeanor. It can help us celebrate our bodies and all we have in our lives. Tai Chi is unique in that movements are never forced and joints are not fully extended. Tai Chi can be easily adapted for any age or physical ability including those confined to wheelchairs and recovering from surgery.
MEET US
BRENDA BELL - INSTRUCTOR

Brenda Bell is a retired professional boxer who sustained a TBI (traumatic brain injury). Feeling sorry for herself, she began to gain weight, up to 355 lbs, and stopped caring about her wellbeing. She gave up on life and fell into deep depression with suicidal tendency. Having had 26 years in the martial arts, she decided to get back into the martial training, hoping that Tai Chi will help her out of depression and help her know true happiness. Brenda connected with the founder of Easy Tai Chi Dr. Keith Jeffery, who is a 35 year veteran Tai Chi practitioner, teacher, and board member of the North American Tai Chi Association. Brenda enrolled in Dr. Keith Jeffery's course of study and is now a certified teacher of Easy Tai Chi, teaching basics and somatic movement, for All is Well Ventures, Inc. She also continues to share the knowledge she has learned as a boxer with her Boxercise classes.
KEVIN - CERTIFIED LEADER

Hello, I am Kevin, Certified Leader in Easy Tai-Chi. I've been studying under Ms. Brenda for almost 5 years.

Have you ever heard the saying "fall seven times, get up eight"? Well I'm the perfect example. When I met Ms. B, I started Tai-Chi. I felt like "This is a place I belong." Even if I come to class in a "mood" I always leave happy.

I'll tell you, if you're a person who is looking for a place to be accepted, Easy Tai-Chi is a great place to come. All of us, Maria, Ms. B, myself, and the rest of the students, will accept you and love you like family. Because that is what we are: one big happy family.

-Thank you and Namaste-
MARIA - ADVANCE STUDENT

Maria started training with Ms. Brenda in 2015. She leads an active lifestyle with work and playing sports. She started taking Easy Tai Chi to try out a different workout. She had tried yoga before, but the unique art of Tai Chi continues to intrigue her. She describes it as, "a slow and beautiful, but deadly dance." Because Tai Chi teaches martial art forms in slow, concentrated forms, you are able to focus on breathing and technique.
